Honors Chemistry is a course designed to introduce matter and the changes it undergoes. Topics will include scientific method, matter, atomic and mole theory, bonding and nomenclature, stoichiometry, chemical reactions and thermodynamics. Many of these concepts will be covered in various methods including laboratory settings. Honors Chemistry will included significant amounts of mathematics and laboratory work. This course is for college-bound students. This course is prepartory for AP Chemistry.
